The Hotel Jardim Atlantico was once again awarded 3rd place for the high standard environment protection, between 15.000 hotels world wide.

It was during the “Gestão Ambiental” Seminar (August 2001), which was organised by the tour operator TUI, that Dr. Andreas Koch awarded Udo Bachmeier, the head of this project, with the “TUI Umwelt Champion” prize.

To complement our environmental actions, we are in the process of receiving the environmnetal certification – ISO 14001. (May 2002)

In the year 2002 each section, Reception, Restaurant, Bar, Managers and Chamber maids, will be doing a formation course through DTIM.
